These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Rogue Valley Women in Business website and your participation in any RVWIB events, programs, or membership. By accessing our website, registering for an event, or purchasing a membership, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Jackson County, Oregon.

Event Registration and Refund Policy

All event ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds for any reason, including but not limited to scheduling conflicts, illness, or changes in personal circumstances. We encourage you to carefully review event details before completing your purchase. In the event that RVWIB cancels an event, registered attendees will receive a credit toward a future event of equal value.

Membership Terms

RVWIB memberships are billed annually at the current membership rate. By purchasing a membership, you agree to the following terms. All membership purchases are final and non-refundable. You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting us at hello@roguevalleywomen.com. Cancellation will prevent future renewal but does not entitle you to a refund for any portion of the current membership period. Membership benefits are non-transferable and available to the individual who purchased the membership only.

Photography, Video, and Media Release

RVWIB events are photographed and may be recorded for use in marketing, social media, and promotional materials. By registering for and attending any RVWIB event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded. You grant RVWIB a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use your likeness in connection with the promotion of RVWIB and its events. If you have concerns about being photographed or recorded, please notify us in writing prior to the event at hello@roguevalleywomen.com.

Sponsors and Third-Party Vendors

RVWIB events may include sponsors and third-party vendors who have the opportunity to share information about their businesses. RVWIB does not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for the products, services, or advice offered by any sponsor or vendor. Any business relationship you enter into with a sponsor or vendor is solely between you and that party. RVWIB is not liable for any outcomes resulting from those interactions.

Limitation of Liability

RVWIB provides events, speakers, and programming for educational and community-building purposes only. Nothing shared at an RVWIB event by speakers, panelists, or other attendees constitutes professional legal, financial, medical, or business advice. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on information or connections made at or through RVWIB events or within the RVWIB community. RVWIB is not responsible for the outcomes of any connections, collaborations, referrals, or business relationships that arise from participation in our events or community. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RVWIB's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or your participation in any RVWIB event or membership shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific event or membership giving rise to the claim.

Code of Conduct

RVWIB is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all attendees, members, sponsors, and guests. By participating in any RVWIB event or community, you agree to conduct yourself in accordance with the following standards.

Treat all individuals with respect regardless of background, profession, or experience level. Engage in conversations and interactions in good faith and with genuine intent. Do not engage in harassment, discrimination, or behavior that makes others feel unsafe or unwelcome. Do not solicit other attendees in a manner that is aggressive, unsolicited, or disrespectful of personal boundaries. Respect the privacy of other attendees. Do not record other attendees without their consent.

RVWIB reserves the right to remove any individual from an event or revoke membership at any time, without refund, if their conduct violates this Code of Conduct or is otherwise deemed disruptive or harmful to the community.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be reflected by a revised effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or participation in RVWIB events or membership after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
